The Older Women’s Network Qld Inc Mitchelton (OWNQ) has been through some changes this year, having found a home for their monthly meetings at the Arana Leagues Club.
It is just an extension of their other activities as they meet for their Coffee/Techno mornings and a lunch throughout the month. The group are adjusting to the new times and will continue to do so.
The aim of the group is to provide information that is needed for a healthy outlook on ageing (hey, we get older from the day we are born) and to meet in a friendly, social atmosphere.
OWNQ Mitchelton is part of a organization that is Statewide with groups in three states in Australia, as well as a National branch. There are even Older Women’s Networks in the UK and the USA, among other countries. They are a part of a great organization!The Mitchelton Branch of OWNQ meeting venue and times are as follows:
• Coffee/Techno Morning Arana Leagues Club, 10am
on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month
• Lunch at the Arana Leagues Club 12pm on the 2nd
Saturday of the month
• Monthly meeting on the 4th Wednesday of the month
at the Arana Leagues Club 10am to 12pm
• Zoom meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 10am
