Help Out a Scout

An update from the Enoggera Scout Group

The Graduation Bridge, designed and built by the Scouts

Scouts provides boys and girls aged 5 to 25 with fun and challenging opportunities to grow through adventure.

We help develop skills in young people such as leadership, teamwork, problem solving and communication from the age of 5 years old.

So, you like the idea of Scouts, but aren’t sure you can help us much. Think again. Here’s just a few ways you can help us to make a difference in the lives of young Queenslanders:

Support our recycling program

Recycle and help support your local Enoggera Scout Group. The 10c a container from the ‘Containers for Change’ initiative helps fund scouting activities. Bring your refundable, recyclable containers to the Enoggera Scout Den or we can come and collect from you. To organise a pick up, email Our bins are open for business!

Donate your time

Scouting provides adults with an opportunity to lead and gain satisfaction working with young people and other adults; to make a direct positive impact on your local community and on the lives of young people. Why let the kids have all the adventures? Join in by becoming a Scout Leader. Training is provided and is nationally accredited.

Donate your goods/services

We are always on the lookout for ways to support our group.  So if you have a business and are keen to give back, please get in touch, as we would love to hear from you. It could be anything – you’d be surprised what we can use!

Hire our hall

We have a lovely heritage-listed hall at 61 Hurdcotte Street, Enoggera, which is available for hire.  It best suits regular hirers for classes. Any money raised through this goes to support our scout activities.

Help on the horizon

If you think you can help us in any of these ways (or even some others we haven’t even thought of), please contact us by email at or call 0439 677 755. Follow us on facebook to keep up to date with our news at EnoggeraScoutGroup
