Arana Hills Library Extends Opening Hours!

The early bird gets the worm, or in this case the bookworm!

Due to popular demand Moreton Bay Region’s libraries will be opening earlier in 2020 and that includes our local Arana Hills branch!

Acting Mayor Mike Charlton said contrary to popular belief, demand for literature is increasing in the digital age.

“We’ve invested heavily across all our libraries to make sure they’re state-of-the-art facilities for reading, learning and discovering our universe through the world of words,” he said.

“So from this year 10 libraries across the region will be opening from 8.30am. It might only seem like a small change from the current 9:00am opening, but that extra time could make the difference in someone’s day.”

If you haven’t been into the library recently, the school holidays are the perfect time to check out the impressive digital resources and relaxation spaces that are available.
