Arana View’s small numbers make a BIG noise!

From the Aran VIEW Club

VIEW Members Margaret and Veronica meeting the guest speaker Tim and therapy dog, Pippa

It was great to see many of our members again at our first meeting since March.

Numbers were small but we still made as much noise catching up with each other. Our guest speaker was retired police officer Tim Brinums, and he spoke about some of the investigations he was involved in during his police force days. He also introduced Pippa, who does a wonderful job as a therapy dog in various places in the community!

The November meeting will be held on Wednesday 4th November at the Arana Leagues Club, Dawson Parade, Keperra, 10.15am for 11am start. There will be a Cent Auction during the meeting so bring along any of those unwanted items that are taking up space! The guest speaker for the meeting will be Jo Neary from the Zephyr Foundation. This organisation supports children who are affected by domestic violence.

The December meeting will be held on Wednesday 2nd December. Plans are already underway to make it a great way to end this rather unpredictable year.

Please remember to phone Carol on 3355 5349 if you are attending the meeting by midday on Monday 1st November. Please note, numbers are still restricted to 60 in the Function Room at Arana Leagues Club.
