As we look at another year, we hope it will be better than last year for all sports.
Something we do well at the Newmarket Bocce Club is to have a great time! In 2020, on the last Wednesday of each month, we celebrated the birthdays for that month. Some antipasto, a beer ,and throw in a happy birthday tune, is a recipe that we always enjoy here at the club.
Last year, due to COVID-19, the club did not hold their usual Christmas party. Nevertheless, on Wednesday 16th, at the annual birthday bash, the club committee decided to also include Christmas cheer and a bite to eat for all the bocce players. And boy did that go down well! Pictured is one of our club members Fausto Ceccato on the accordion. Fausto is a professional accordion player and for about an hour he played some beautiful songs for all to enjoy. Needless to say, we all had a great time.
