Meat eaters, do we have your attention?? Ever wondered how meat is MSA graded? Or just want some free steak on a Friday night?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Enoggera Scouts has the opportunity for you!
On Friday 27th August, Enoggera Scouts is hosting a meat tasting evening where you will be provided with free samples of grilled beef and lamb. Free succulent grilled meat? There must be a catch?! All we ask in return is that you give your opinion on the meat’s tenderness, juiciness and flavour, and who can’t do that?!
The organisers, Tastepoint, donate $1,000 to the Enoggera Scouts for our opinions (more winning!) but we must secure 20 different people for each of the three sittings. So please promote it with your extended families, friends, work colleagues, gym buddies, sporting clubs and sign up now for a session at www.volunteersignup.org/TC77R
There are sessions: 5.30-6.30pm (20 people), 6.30-7.30pm (20 people) and 7.30-8.30pm (20 people)
The fine print, 18+ for tasters (although if you are a strapping 17-year-old carnivore, they will not card you on the night.) We will have a campfire running out the back and have supervision for children. Feel free to bring nibblies and drinks and come early and/or leave late to enjoy the fire. Plus, you must be willing to eat beef and lamb cooked from medium-rare through to well-done. Lastly, no doubling up. You can only enjoy one sitting unfortunately.
We look forward to having a great ‘meating’!
