Celebrating the people, places, organisations and businesses that are at the very heart of our community is what we do best here at The Hills Echo! It has been a privilege to share our stories with you this year.

We are delighted that we proudly continue to operate as a 100% independent and locally owned media platform. What this means for you, the reader, is that we have the freedom to publish news and stories with no bias.

Our community platforms have continued to conquer many local hearts within the Hills District and surrounding suburbs, which has allowed The Hills Echo to grow from strength to strength across print, digital and social media.

Our print publication continues to grow. We now cover a vast area of North West Brisbane via direct letterbox delivery including; Ferny Hills, Everton Hills, Arana Hills, Ferny Grove, Upper Kedron, Keperra, Grovely, Samford and Bunya. We distribute a huge 14,000 copies per month and the innovative newspaper stands are proving a favourable way for locals to collect their copy. A BIG Thank You to all that accommodate our newspaper stands, readers can now pick up the latest issue from local coffee shops, shopping precincts and businesses.

The Hills Echo is a multi-media platform for community news. We have digital options that include our VERY popular website, social media sites and E-Newsletter. Our extended reach allows readers to catch up on the local news, no matter where they are.To see what is new and happening in the community, check out at www.hillsecho.com. Here you will find all of the latest news and stories, along with a local business directory and our What’s On Calendar. We have so much more planned for 2020 so make sure you follow us!

I would like to personally take this opportunity to extend a huge thank you to our loyal Hills Echo advertising family, who have continued to support our local community publication both in print and online. As a free publication, our advertisers are at the very heart of what we do and we simply could not bring this community publication to you each month without them.

Thank you to all of the community groups, sports clubs and residents for their submissions throughout the year, you have provided our newspaper with local, engaging content.

Finally I would like to thank YOU, our loyal readers, who continue to pick up The Hills Echo and support us each month. We are looking forward to 2020, as we have so much in store!

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
