Come Meet Our Local Cake Decorators

An update from the Brisbane North Cake Decorators Association

What fun we had at our April Meeting and welcomed several interested new members.

We had a workshop afternoon and learnt how to make small flowers using basic tools found in the kitchen. We then added them to a small plaque suitable for an Easter or Mother’s Day cake.

The May meeting has been brought forward a week and will be held on the 14th May as our venue will be used for the Federal Election on the 21st May. Robyn will be showing us a popular technique called ‘Bas Relief’ after a short business meeting. We meet at the Arana Hills Community Hall on Dawson Parade commencing at 1pm.

We are a branch of the Queensland Cake Decorators Association and we aim to foster and improve the art of cake decorating and sugar craft by providing the opportunity for an exchange of ideas and skills. Each meeting we have some form of sharing, either a workshop or a demonstration by a member or guest.

Check our Facebook page or email  for more information. New members are always welcome.
