Australia’s leading cyclo-cross riders will be on show at Samford for Rounds 5 & 6 of the 2018 MTBA Cyclo-Cross National Series on the weekend of July 21-22.
It’s the second straight year Samford has hosted rounds of the national CX Series, with more than 200 riders expected to race across the weekend at the Baden Powell Reserve.
MTBA CEO Shane Coppin said the organisation was keen to return to popular race venue.
‘The support and interest we have received in cyclo-cross has allowed us to bring two national series rounds back to a venue which has received plenty of praise from riders,’ said Mr. Coppin.
There will be over 200 competitors and officials expected to attend and more than 400 spectators set to be present at the event. World cup experienced riders such as Chris Jongewaard, Garry Millburn, Natalie Redmond and local favourite Zach Larsson will compete across the weekend.
