Everton News – Dec 2020

A monthly update from your State Member for Everton Tim Mander

Tim Mander MP

I’m incredibly proud to be re-elected the Member for Everton.

It has been a tremendous honour to serve as your local State Member of Parliament for the last eight and a half years and want to thank the people of Everton for putting their faith in me once again. I feel so privileged to represent the area I grew up in. Although in Opposition, I will work very hard to make sure our patch gets the state government services it deserves.

Remembrance Day

It’s always an honor to join with others and pay respect to Australia’s servicemen and servicewomen at the Gaythorne RSL Remembrance Day service.   I want to also thank those who are currently serving our country and for the families that support their loved ones in this service.

Let us never forget those who gave so much – and let their courage and dedication be an inspiration to us all.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

What a year!

2020 will go down as one of those years never to be forgotten. My thoughts go to those who have been severely impacted by COVID-19 whether through ill-health or their employment. Surely 2021 can only get better.

Amongst this pain there is always some good to celebrate. For me, 2020 will be the year that my wife and I were blessed with three additional grandchildren … one on election day!

With this, from my family to yours, may you have a joyous Christmas and a healthy, happy new year.
