Everyone was a beginner at some point, so don’t be shy!

With more than 20 years combined experience in the fitness industry, Enhance PT is a Group Fitness and Mobile Personal Training service based on the northside of Brisbane.

Enhance PT  are passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals without all the yelling and intimidation you might find elsewhere. They foster a strictly non-competitive environment where classes are led by experienced and mature female trainers only. They want to get to know you personally – you are never just another client.

Owner and operator Miranda Pardon uses her age as a selling point.

“I’m not a 25 year old gym bunny. I’m on the cusp of fifty and I don’t look like Michelle Bridges. I started my journey into health and fitness in my early forties and I’ve never felt happier, healthier, stronger or more energized in my life,” said Miranda.

“I know that some people feel reluctant to start an exercise program because they feel intimidated by that hard-core gym-type image, however, at Enhance PT we want to change that perception. Fitness is not a one size fits all equation and the truth of the matter is that you don’t have to work out like a crazy person to achieve results. I personally don’t enjoy going to gyms and I certainly don’t respond well to anyone yelling or screaming at me while I am exercising, let alone pushing me until I either collapse or vomit. We like to have fun and have a laugh along the way.”

Enhance PT offer a variety of general group fitness classes as well as yoga classes across the week in both indoor and outdoor venues at both Arana Hills and Samford.

There are also two special interest groups;

  1. Mums with Bubs

New Mums returning to exercise need to be monitored carefully so as to avoid injury both externally and even more importantly, internally. Enhance PT  are passionate advocates for women’s health, and want to help new Mums get back into shape safely, under the supervision and guidance of a qualified Safe Return to Exercise (SRE) fitness professional. All Enhance PT trainers are SRE qualified.

  1. Over 55’s ( or Just Older Youth as Enhance PT like to call them!)

If you are 55+ and are looking at returning to exercise for heart health, reducing your blood pressure or increase your bone density or general flexibility, then Enhance PT have a specialized class for you.  Their JOY classes are low to moderate intensity only. You will not be dropping to floor to do burpees or push ups. You will be participating in exercises that help to increase your flexibility, range of movement and strength.
