Fun, Friendship and Workshops at the Cake Decorators Club

At the last meeting of the Brisbane North Decorators Club one of their members gave an informative workshop regarding pressure piping using a Royal icing mix. As with all the club’s meetings, there was a lot of laughter and they even managed to make some pigs (see picture).

The Brisbane North Cake Decorators is a branch of Queensland Cake Decorators, a not-for-profit organization formed 35 years ago. They meet every 3rd Saturday of the month from 1pm at Arana Hills Community Centre 291 Dawson Parade, Arana Hills and at the meetings they always try to have a hands on workshop.

The club encourage new members experienced or not to join them in this fulfilling and rewarding hobby. Their aim is to provide an avenue for skills sharing and learning cake decorating techniques.

So come join the fun and meet new cake friends. Check out their Facebook page for more information at www.facebook.com/Brisbane-North-Cake-Decorators-Association-QCDA-250993331639121/
