Keperra Country Golf Club and Just Better Care announce Partnership

KCGC General Manager Gavin Lawrence with Managing Director of Just Better Care Brisbane North, Susanne Jones

Keperra Country Golf Club (KCGC) has announced a new partnership with Gaythorne-based Just Better Care Brisbane North as part of the Club’s recently launched initiative to connect with the local business community.

Just Better Care Brisbane North, founded in 2015 by Managing Director and dual franchise owner Susanne Jones, provides aged care home support services and disability support and operates under the umbrella of global entity Caring Brands International.

Ms Jones said as a relatively new business in the region, she was delighted to be partnering with the club, which has a 90-year history of community reach and engagement.

“I’ve been working to establish strong community connections with organisations like Keperra Country Golf Club which share the values that I embrace and the same outlook in terms of providing education, collaboration and giving back to the community, as the Club does through its charity contributions,” she said.

“It’s a very natural evolution for us and we are very excited to be able to have this opportunity.”

KCGC General Manager Gavin Lawrence said, “The Club is thrilled to be partnering with Just Better Care Brisbane North, which is part of one of Australia’s largest accredited providers of in-home aged care and disability support.

“With their focus on delivering community education and delivering quality outcomes for their clients we believe they are an ideal partner, and we are fortunate to have them operating within our local community.”

Just Better Care Brisbane North has come on board as a Major Partner, one of four levels of Club partnerships available.

The Club has also welcomed two Supporting Partners — long-time supporter Everton Engineering, and leisure and lifestyle benefits program provider QRI Lifestyle.

Mr Lawrence said with so many people affected by COVID-19, the Club’s partnership initiative was a way to help local businesses as they reactivate and provide opportunities for them to let the community know about their services.

Golf’s national governing body, Golf Australia, has reported substantial growth in the game’s popularity over the past year, with increases nationwide in club memberships and in the numbers of newcomers taking to courses.

The Keperra Club, which has experienced this surge, facilitates more than 90,000 golf rounds each year and is home to more than 1400 members, many of whom live locally.

Limited opportunities remain to take up sponsorship packages, with the Club in negotiations with a number of businesses.
