The Older Women’s Network Qld (OWNQ) Mitchelton Branch is restarting their monthly meetings. The important start date is Wednesday 26th August 2020.
Their down time was not ‘down time’ as they began Zoom meetings on a regular basis. In July they had a guest speaker address how to handle mental health. The Zoom meetings and ‘Morning Tea in the Park’ filled the gaps of the normal activities and now they are looking forward to a ‘new’ normal. Currently, they are back with our regular activities, COVID permitting.
Megan Collier from Home Instead Senior Care is their guest speaker and will be discussing how they can help to navigate the My Aged Care process. It is important to be informed about the important issue of obtaining assistance in getting in home care, a service that is provided by Home Instead.
The Mitchelton Branch of OWNQ meeting venue and times:

• Monthly Meeting is on the 4th Wednesday of the month,
commencing at 10am to 12pm, with a small cost of $5.
