New Bustling Utopia Coming to Ferny Grove

A “village vibe” is coming to Ferny Grove with long-term leases secured for major tenants for the  $140million Ferny Grove Central development . 

Three new major tenancies have been announced with cinema and entertainment venue Cinebar, gym operator Goodlife Health Clubs, and childcare group, Goodstart Early Learning all set to move into Ferny Grove Central when complete.

The three new tenancies follow the announcement in May 2021 that Woolworths and Dan Murphy’s had been secured as anchor tenants. The high profile residential and retail development also offers significant transport benefits with its location adjacent to the Ferny Grove railway station. Further details about each tenant is outlined below.

Cinebar Ferny Grove

Cinebar has struck a 15-year lease on 2100sqm at Ferny Grove Central where it will create a fully licensed venue with luxury recliner seats and tables with in-seat waiter service. The combined cinema, bar and restaurant will have seating for 416 people across six screens.

Goodlife Health Clubs

Goodlife Health Clubs has secured a 10-year lease with six five-year options on 1,800sqm across two levels of the mixed-use development where it will offer a full suite of health and fitness activities. The 24/7 offer will provide a state of the art facility with weights, cardio equipment, functional training zones, cycle studio and child minding.

Goodstart Early Learning

Goodstart Early Learning has taken a 15-year lease on 1802sqm in level one of the development, including internal and external areas, where it plans to provide early learning and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. 

About the Ferny Grove Central Development

Ferny Grove Central has 12,000sqm of retail space, including ancillary car parking facilities and direct access to transport infrastructure.

The project will also deliver a new residential offering for the suburb, The Fernery, featuring 82 luxury boutique apartments complete with a recreational deck, as well as improved pedestrian and cyclist connections through the site.

Commuters who regularly use Ferny Grove railway station will also benefit from the construction of a multi-deck commuter car park providing the convenience of undercover parking bays.
