The Samford Museum is delighted to announce that they will be will open to visitors on Wednesdays and Sundays from 10am – 4pm.
2020 has been a busy year for the museum with maintenance work, accessioning and recording of donated items continuing, despite the COVID-19 challenges. Research enquiries have also been handled by email throughout last year when possible.
During January, patrons of Arana Hills Library were treated to displays covering a variety of topics spread through three display cases. The museum would like to extend thanks to the library staff for the opportunity to promote the Museum’s activities.
If you are recently retired, looking for an opportunity to utilise your skills and have a few hours to spare, the Samford Museum would love to hear from you and learn more about your specific skills. Maybe you are adept at painting, welding, carpentry or just a willing worker keen to carry out some voluntary work?
