After a shortened season in 2020, Pine Hills Netball Club is looking forward to getting back on the court in 2021 for a full season of winter fixtures.
Despite the disruption in 2020, over 90% of their players participated in the 9-week competition established by Downey Park Netball Association once restrictions had eased in the middle of the year. In addition, almost 100 five to ten year olds from around greater Brisbane and Moreton Bay region took part in the annual NetSetGo clinics in term 4, providing plenty of enthusiasm and optimism for 2021.
Pine Hills Netball Club endeavours to provide an environment where players of all levels can enjoy their netball. All ages are encouraged to participate with fixtures for players from 7½ years old through to the opens teams that accommodate adult players of all ages.
As a club, along with the development of their players, they also value the development of their umpires and coaches. This year, with the aid of a grant from Woolworths, Pine Hills will provide dedicated training to their coaches with the aim of improving the skills of their coaches and the experience of their players.
Registration this year will open online on the 15th January with sign-on days to be held at James Drysdale Reserve on Saturday the 23rd and Thursday evening on the 28th of January.
