Pine Hills Netball set for great season ahead!

After a shortened season in 2020, Pine Hills Netball Club is looking forward to getting back on the court in 2021 for a full season of winter fixtures.

Despite the disruption in 2020, over 90% of their players participated in the 9 week competition established by Downy Park Netball Association once restrictions had eased in the middle of the year. In addition, almost 100 five to ten year olds from around greater Brisbane and Moreton Bay region took part in the annual NetSetGo clinics in term 4 providing plenty of enthusiasm and optimism for 2021.

Pine Hills Netball Club endeavours to provide an environment where players of all levels can enjoy their netball. All ages are encouraged to participate with fixtures for players from 7½ years old through to our opens teams that accommodate our adult players of all ages.

As a club, along with the development of our players, we also value the development of our umpires and coaches. This year with the aid of a grant from Woolworths, Pine Hills will provide dedicated training to our coaches with the aim being to improve the skills of our coaches and the experience of our players.

Registration this year will open online on 15 January with our sign on days to be held at James Drysdale Reserve on Saturday the 23rd and Thursday evening the 28th of January. With winter fixtures commencing on March 20th, our grading days for 11 year old to Inters (16-18yo) players to be held on February 6th and 13th at Eatons Hill State School. Our pre-season skills sessions will run in conjunction with grading on the Thursday evenings prior to each grading day.

If you are new to netball or returning to the game, we would love to see you in Pine Hills colours in 2021. For further information, come and see us in person at our sign on days or send us an email and we look forward to welcoming you to our club. www.pinehillsnetball.club
