In honour of our local service men and women, Samford Museum will hold a day of commemoration for all the family.
Samford Community Choir will lead a war-time sing-along and a ANZAC themed treasure hunt will have children searching for answers. For a small fee, creative youngsters can even make treasures using cold methods under the guidance of the Blacksmith. Family and local history research enquiries are welcome at the event.
In addition, light refreshments including Billy Tea and Damper, coffee, Anzac biscuits and a sausage sizzle will all be available. Events will commence at 9am and finish at 1pm with free admission.
