On Thursday 19th July Ingrid de Jong from Karuna Hospice came to speak about in home palliative care for families, a learning and support service they offer to help with grief and bereavement.
Karuna believes that having the skills and support to face the challenges and uncertainty can make the journey easier. Karuna relies heavily on the kindness of volunteers. Only a portion of their funding comes from Queensland Health. Ingrid gave a very interesting talk.
