School Holiday Events at the Library

There are some wonderful events happening at the Arana Hills Library these school holidays.

Grow a pet sprout: Thursday 8th April: 3pm – 3.45pm

Drop in and design your own sprout pet using a stocking, potting soil, and your imagination! Wear old clothes – creativity can be messy!  Best for ages 6-11. Free. Bookings required.

Study Skills for High School: Friday 9th April:  2pm – 3pm

Get ahead on your high school workload by developing a study routine. Delivered in partnership with USC.  Ages 12-14.Free. Bookings required.

Nature Play in the Park: Tuesday 13th April: 3pm – 3.45pm

Join us for an afternoon of nature play at the park that engages all the senses while we hunt for nature‘s treasures. Dress for mess; we will be painting, playing with mud, crafting and moving about. Suitable for ages 3-5 years. Free. Bookings required.

Self Defence Basics: Thursday 15th April:  4pm -5 pm

Learn basic self-defence moves and, most importantly, the mindset that will help you to keep yourself safe in this no-contact workshop with martial arts expert, Peter Cooper. Ages 12-17. Free. Bookings required.
