Brisbane City Council is aware of planned protest activities proposed to take place in Brisbane CBD on Tuesday 18 August 2020, likely to commence from 7.45am.
The protest activities are expected to cause major disruption to peak hour traffic in and around the CDB, around George Street and Adelaide Street.
Queensland Police Service (QPS) has indicated it may close some streets. Diversions will be in place and these will be managed by QPS.
The protest is likely to cause disruptions to traffic and public transport services. Residents should monitor advice from authorities and take into consideration the potential impacts and alter travel routes if they are planning to be in the vicinity.
