Free Apprenticeships & Traineeships
The Palaszczuk Government is all about creating jobs which people want in the industries that Queensland needs.
So far, the government has done this through giving employers payroll tax relief and removing the barriers to hiring more staff.
Now the Queensland Government is building on this record by announcing it will fund 60,000 free apprenticeships and traineeships for Queenslanders under the age of 21 across 139 skill-shortage industries from electrical and plumbing to healthcare and hospitality.
University is not the right fit for everyone. Parents who are worried about their kids’ future can get them a ticket to a trade. For more information call our Apprenticeship Hotline on 1800 210 210.
