As part of National Volunteer Week that took place in May, Newmarket VIEW Club recently called on members of the community to consider volunteering for children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
Members used raffles and donations to raise money to continue to support their seven sponsored children through The Smith Family’s Learning for Life Program, which funds their school activities. These students were amongst the hardest hit during the school shutdowns, as many didn’t have the equipment they needed to learn from home.
Newmarket VIEW Club provides a place for women to connect in the community, enjoy social activities and develop lasting friendships – all while they support the work of the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
